The Audi Q8 e-tron is Audi’s large fully electric luxury SUV, combining a spacious five-seat cabin with dual-motor quattro all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension.

The latest Malaysian range is centred on the Q8 e-tron S line 55 quattro, with a standard retail price of RM465,990 before current promotional or remaining-stock adjustments. Audi Malaysia continues to list the model locally even though global production of this Q8 e-tron generation has ended.

Its dual electric motors produce 300 KW (402 HP) and 664 NM, paired with a large 114 KWH lithium-ion battery. Audi Malaysia currently quotes up to 571 KM WLTP, while 0-100 KM/H takes 5.6 seconds.

The Q8 e-tron uses Audi’s three-display digital cockpit architecture.

A 12.3-INCH Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus sits ahead of the driver, while a 10.1-INCH upper MMI touchscreen handles infotainment and navigation.

A separate 8.6-INCH lower touchscreen controls climate functions and selected vehicle settings.

The centre console incorporates the lower MMI touchscreen, electronic gear selector and storage compartments.

Gloss-black touch surfaces with haptic feedback provide physical confirmation when selections are made.

However, the 170 KW DC maximum now trails newer 800-VOLT premium EVs capable of substantially faster charging, while its RM465,990 standard retail price places it against much newer electric luxury SUVs.

With global production of this generation already ended, the Q8 e-tron is effectively in its final phase locally. Nevertheless, for buyers prioritising traditional Audi cabin quality, air-suspension comfort, quattro traction and a spacious 569 L boot, it remains an accomplished luxury electric SUV.
