Jetour T2 PHEV

The Jetour T2 i-DM is a five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV that combines a 1.5-litre turbo engine, dual-motor hybrid system and a three-speed DHT. It delivers strong performance, over 100 km of electric range and up to 1,200 km of combined driving range.

The dashboard uses a horizontal, rugged theme centred on a 15.6-inch touchscreen and a separate 10.25-inch digital driver display. Physical grab handles reinforce the off-road-inspired cabin design.

The centre console houses the illuminated crystal gear selector, drive and power-mode controls, storage areas and a 50-watt wireless charging pad.

A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster presents speed, driving information, hybrid-system status, range and active safety alerts.

The front seats are power adjustable, ventilated and fitted with memory and welcome functions. Synthetic leather upholstery is used throughout the cabin.

A long 2,800 mm wheelbase and boxy roofline provide generous headroom and usable legroom for five occupants.

The multifunction steering wheel provides access to audio, phone, driver-display and driver-assistance settings without requiring the driver to leave the wheel.

Cabin storage includes door pockets, centre-console compartments and a practical rear cargo area suited to daily and recreational use.

Cup holders are integrated into the centre console, positioned within easy reach of the front occupants.

The cabin provides USB charging connections and a 50-watt wireless charging pad. The 18.4 kWh traction battery supports 6.6 kW AC charging and vehicle-to-load output.

The cabin combines soft-touch trim, durable surfaces and metallic-style details. Fit and finish are competitive for the segment, while prominent grab handles add a rugged character.

The upright body and wide tailgate opening provide a practical luggage area, while the rear seats can be folded to increase carrying capacity.

The T2 i-DM measures approximately 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,875 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase. Its upright proportions give it a substantial road presence and a roomy five-seat cabin.

The front retains the T2’s rugged square profile, prominent grille and vertical design elements. The illuminated JETOUR signature and squared LED lighting give it a distinctive appearance.

At the rear, the side-hinged tailgate and externally mounted spare-wheel cover reinforce the SUV’s adventure-focused styling. PHEV and i-DM badging identify the electrified version.

Automatic LED headlamps feature a squared light signature and illuminated JETOUR wordmark, providing a modern contrast to the vehicle’s rugged bodywork.

The vertically arranged rear lamps complement the upright tailgate and broad rear stance, improving recognition at night.

The powered side mirrors include heating, integrated indicators and an automatic tilt-down function in reverse for improved kerb visibility.

Disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, supported by ABS, electronic brake-force distribution and electronic stability control.

The Malaysian T2 i-DM uses 20-inch Trailblazer alloy wheels with road-focused tyres, balancing visual impact with everyday driving comfort.

Active safety includes autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Passive protection includes six airbags, a high-strength steel body structure, ISOFIX child-seat anchors and a tyre-pressure monitoring system.

Four road modes—Normal, Economy, Sport and Snow—are supplemented by EV and HEV power modes, allowing the driver to prioritise electric running or hybrid operation.

A 15.6-inch central display runs the multimedia and vehicle interfaces, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity plus intelligent voice control.

The Level 2 assistance suite includes adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, intelligent high-beam control and lane-centering functions. A 360-degree camera with transparent-view display assists manoeuvring.

A 12-speaker Sony premium audio system provides broad cabin coverage and a fuller soundstage than a conventional six-speaker setup.

The plug-in hybrid system combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged direct-injection engine with two electric motors. Total system output is 265 kW, equivalent to 355 hp, with 610 Nm of torque.

Power is managed by a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission designed to blend engine and electric-motor operation smoothly.

Unlike the petrol T2’s all-wheel-drive system, the T2 i-DM sends power to the front wheels.

The strong electric-motor response gives the T2 i-DM brisk initial acceleration, although no official Malaysian 0–100 km/h figure has been published.

The 18.4 kWh battery provides more than 100 km of claimed electric driving range, while total combined range is rated at up to 1,200 km. Actual consumption varies with charge level and driving conditions.

Convenience equipment includes keyless entry, powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, a panoramic roof, wireless phone charging and an electric-suction tailgate.

Rear passengers receive dedicated ventilation outlets to improve cabin comfort in Malaysia’s warm climate.

The long wheelbase, substantial body and supportive seats favour relaxed cruising. The hybrid system also allows quieter low-speed travel when operating electrically.

Electric operation keeps the cabin quiet at urban speeds, while the insulated body and refined powertrain help reduce wind and drivetrain noise during longer journeys.

The Jetour T2 i-DM adds significantly more power and useful electric range to the T2 formula while retaining its distinctive design and well-equipped cabin. Front-wheel drive is the main compromise for buyers who prioritise the petrol model’s all-wheel-drive capability.
