How to Drive a Mercedes-Benz Under RM2k/Mo: Agility+ Guide

If you’ve ever browsed through new luxury car listings in Malaysia, you’ve probably braced yourself for monthly bank loan repayments that hover somewhere between RM3,500 and RM6,000. For many professionals, that heavy commitment is the main barrier standing between them and driving a Three-Pointed Star home.

However, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is completely shifting how drivers access premium vehicles through its FLEX campaign featuring Agility+. By introducing flexible tenure options, lower entry rates starting from RM1,988 per month, and protected future values, driving a new Mercedes-Benz is suddenly far more accessible than standard hire-purchase loans suggest.

Here is everything you need to know about how the Agility+ plan works, how it keeps your monthly payments low, and the VIP privileges that come with it.

What Is Mercedes-Benz Agility+?

Unlike a conventional bank hire-purchase loan where you pay for 100% of the vehicle’s purchase price across 7 to 9 years, Agility+ works by only charging you for the portion of the vehicle you actually plan to use.

When you set up an Agility+ plan, you customize three main factors:

  • Down Payment: Down payments start as low as 10%.
  • Financing Tenure: Flexible plans ranging from 1 to 5 years (with options up to 7 years).
  • Annual Mileage: Tailored to your lifestyle, from 10,000 km to 30,000 km per year.

Why pay 100% of the car's price when you only drive it for a few years? Mercedes-Benz guarantees what the car will be worth when your plan ends and subtracts that upfront. This keeps your monthly instalments much lower, starting at just RM1,988 per month for entry-level models like the A-Class or GLA.

3 Flexible Choices at the End of Your Agreement

One of the biggest pain points of conventional car ownership is resale value anxiety. Will the secondary market crash when you want to sell your car in 4 years? With Agility+, the future value is locked in upfront. When your tenure ends, you have complete control with three straightforward options:

  1. Return the Vehicle: Simply hand the keys back to Mercedes-Benz with no remaining obligations (subject to standard condition and mileage limits). This is perfect if you love switching to the latest model every few years.
  2. Settle & Keep It: Pay or refinance the remaining Guaranteed Future Value balance to take full ownership of the vehicle. If the market value ends up being higher than the GFV, you can even trade it in and keep the surplus equity.
  3. Upgrade to a New Model: Put the accrued equity directly toward a brand-new Mercedes-Benz.

Added Lifestyle & VIP Privileges Included

The FLEX campaign isn't just about flexible financing, it connects drivers to an entire luxury ecosystem:

  • Service & Warranty Support: Select plans include up to 4 Compact Service Packages and a 1-Year Extended Warranty for total post-purchase peace of mind.
  • MobilityPlus Program: If your vehicle is in the service center for maintenance, warranty work, or repairs for longer than 48 hours, Mercedes-Benz provides a replacement vehicle so your day-to-day schedule isn't interrupted.
  • Exclusive VIP Access: Agility+ owners gain entry to invitation-only events, including Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Kuala Lumpur, the MercedesTrophy golf tournament, the Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience, and private terminal transfer services via Malaysia Airlines.
