The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric is the sleeker coupé-bodied version of Porsche’s new fourth-generation electric Cayenne and was officially launched in Malaysia on 23 August 2026.

Three variants are offered – Cayenne Coupé Electric, Cayenne S Coupé Electric and Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric – priced from RM749,000, RM805,000 and RM999,999 respectively, before options and insurance. All are fully imported from Slovakia.

All three feature dual-motor all-wheel drive and a 113 KWH NMC battery. Maximum Launch Control outputs range from 436 HP in the base model to 657 HP in the S and an extraordinary 1,140 HP in the Turbo. WLTP range reaches as much as 669 KM.

The cabin introduces the latest Porsche Driver Experience, giving the Cayenne the largest digital display landscape yet fitted to a Porsche.

A 14.25-INCH curved OLED instrument cluster sits ahead of the driver, while the centrepiece is the new curved OLED Flow Display extending downward towards the centre console.

An optional 14.9-INCH front passenger display can further expand the digital interface across the dashboard.

The Flow Display curves progressively downward into the centre-console area, dividing information and vehicle controls across its upper and lower sections.

Despite the extensive digital interface, Porsche retains physical climate-control and audio-volume switches, together with an ergonomic hand rest for easier operation while driving.

A configurable storage compartment incorporates removable cup holders and a magnetic Qi wireless charging area.

The driver receives a 14.25-INCH curved OLED digital instrument cluster.

Its configurable three-section layout can display power usage, navigation, media, charging information and three-dimensional driver-assistance graphics.

An optional Augmented Reality Head-Up Display creates a virtual display area equivalent to approximately 87 INCHES positioned 10 M ahead of the vehicle.

Front occupants receive electrically adjustable sports-oriented seats with extensive comfort settings depending on specification.

The rear provides three seating positions with electrically adjustable backrest angle, allowing passengers to trade a more relaxed seating position against luggage capacity.

Turbo-specific interior treatments and numerous leather, Race-Tex and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur upholstery options are available.

The Cayenne Coupé Electric accommodates five occupants, while the significantly longer 3,023 MM wheelbase improves rear passenger room compared with the previous combustion-powered Cayenne generation.

Unlike the regular Cayenne Electric, which offers powered fore-aft adjustment for the rear seats, the Coupé prioritises its lower roofline and provides electrically adjustable rear backrest recline.

The multifunction sports steering wheel places several frequently used controls directly within reach of the driver.

All Cayenne Coupé Electric variants use two permanently excited synchronous electric motors, one mounted at each axle.

The Cayenne Coupé Electric normally produces approximately 402 HP, increasing to 436 HP with Launch Control, together with 835 NM.

The Cayenne S Coupé Electric produces approximately 537 HP, rising to 657 HP with Launch Control, with 1,080 NM.

The flagship Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric produces approximately 845 HP in normal operation and an extraordinary 1,140 HP with Launch Control, together with 1,500 NM.

All three versions use a single-speed automatic reduction transmission.

Unlike the Porsche Taycan, the Cayenne Electric does not use a two-speed rear transmission, with its two motors providing sufficient torque across the entire operating range.

Every Cayenne Coupé Electric features dual-motor all-wheel drive.

The front electric motor can be disconnected during low-load conditions to reduce energy consumption, while the more powerful rear motor gives the drivetrain a rear-biased character.

All three use a 113 KWH NMC high-voltage battery with an 800-VOLT electrical architecture.

The front luggage compartment can be opened through a swipe gesture above the bumper, while the two external AC charging ports can be accessed from either side of the vehicle.

Optional automatically powered doors can open and close electrically while using surrounding sensors to detect obstacles.

Dedicated rear climate-control outlets provide direct ventilation to second-row passengers.

Depending on specification, expanded multi-zone automatic climate-control functionality allows individual temperature adjustment for front and rear occupants.

The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric represents one of Porsche’s most ambitious EVs yet, combining genuine luxury-SUV practicality with extraordinary charging capability and performance.

Even the RM749,000 base model provides 436 HP, 835 NM, AWD and 661 KM WLTP range, while the Cayenne S Coupé Electric arguably strikes the strongest balance with 657 HP and the range-high 669 KM WLTP.

The Turbo pushes the formula into supercar territory with 1,140 HP, 1,500 NM and a 2.5-second 0-100 KM/H time, yet still retains more than 600 KM of claimed WLTP range.

Its 390 KW charging capability, air suspension, expansive digital cockpit, 584 L boot and additional 90 L frunk ensure that performance does not come at the expense of everyday practicality.

However, with Malaysian prices ranging from RM749,000 to RM999,999 before any Porsche options are added, the Cayenne Coupé Electric remains an exceptionally expensive proposition even within the premium EV segment.
