Chery Malaysia Provides 60 SUVs to Serve as VIP Fleet for AISSE 2025

Chery Malaysia has been named the Official VIP Vehicle Partner for the Asia International Security Summit & Expo (AISSE) 2025, providing a fleet of 60 SUVs comprising the OMODA 5, TIGGO 7 PRO and TIGGO 8 PRO to transport guests and delegates from 15 countries to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).
The handover ceremony, held in Bangi, Selangor, saw Chery Malaysia’s Vice Presidents, Michael Chew and Cheng Nam Weng, officially presenting the fleet to Anita Jacobson, Group Managing Director of Alpine Group Services, and Marina Yahya, Business Advisor of Alpine Group Services.

AISSE 2025 will take place from 20–22 January at PICC, featuring the ASEAN+ Security High Roundtable, co-organised by ASEANAPOL with PM Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim set to deliver the opening address.
This high-profile gathering of various Home Affairs Ministers and Police Chiefs from participating countries themed, "Asia United: Charting the Future of Global Peace and Security Through Law Enforcement Collaboration," to address cross-border security issues.

The event is expected to draw 200 security organisations, 5,000 trade visitors, and host 36 forums and conference sessions. Chery Malaysia will feature an exclusive showcase at the AISSE 2025 expo, allowing attendees to view and test-drive the OMODA 5, TIGGO 7 PRO, and TIGGO 8 PRO.
Highlighting Chery’s commitment to quality and innovation, Michael Chew stated, “It is such an honour to be providing our fleet of cars for the inaugural AISSE 2025 event. Our cars incorporate the latest Chery technologies from safety to comfort for both the passenger and driver, while ensuring affordability for consumers and minimizing environmental impact.”
