PHSAM Partners with Moon Power to Electrify its New e-tron Lineup

Porsche-owned Moon Power EV charging solutions provider lands in Malaysia!
Heads up, Malaysian EV fans! Official importer and distributor of Audi cars in Malaysia PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) has partnered with European EV charging solutions provider Moon Power to provide charging solutions for new Audi e-tron owners in Malaysia.
For those who’ve never heard of Moon Power before, this Austria-owned firm is a subsidiary of Porsche Holdings Salzburg (PHS). More importantly, this partnership with PHSAM marks the brand’s first-ever market entry outside of the European market.

Moon Power's 180 kW DC charger is now available at all Audi Centres in Malaysia
Apart from that, Moon Power is also powering all three current Audi Centres in Malaysia with public charging stations, with each Audi Centre getting three AC 22 kW chargers and one DC 180 kW charger. These chargers are exclusively available to Audi e-tron owners only.

Aside from the current Audi Centres, PHSAM’s partnership with Moon Power will also involve the installation of public charging stations in future Audi Centres to be opened in Malaysia. Speaking of Audi Centres, PHSAM Director of Aftersales and Dealer Network Deenan Nadar unveiled that the firm is planning to open a new Audi Centre in the southern region of Peninsula Malaysia. Said to be open somewhere in Johor, this new Audi Centre will cater to the needs of the whole Southern peninsula region.
When asked about the possibility of PHSAM partnering with other EV charging solutions provider to set up a comprehensive charging network, Mr. Nadar said the firm is still planning the works with its new partner Moon Power. As for now, they will rely on the current dealer network as Audi Malaysia’s default EV charging network.
